2020 - Winner for I Voted Stickers

Connecticut - SOS

Program Title
2020 CT I Voted Stickers
Program Summary
To celebrate the 100-year anniversary of the ratification of the 19th Amendment, the Connecticut Secretary of States office wanted to honor those who fought to achieve womens right to vote. Each of the stickers showcases a notable Connecticut suffragist or womens rights activist and describes their contributions to the movement. The stickers honor women from diverse backgrounds who worked together to fight for equality. All of this was made possible with the help of Pamela Hovland, a local graphic designer, faculty member at Yale University, and longtime visual activist.
