Program Summary
Pierce County is Washington state's second largest jurisdiction with over 550,000 registered voters. Pierce County has been voting-by-mail since 2011. Drop boxes are a vital element in our elections. Since 2011, we have made many enhancements to our drop boxes that help track ballot pick-up and chain of custody. These improvements also make our election workers more efficient and offer great access to voters.
