2022 - Honorable Mention for Outstanding Use of HAVA Grants in Elections Modernization

With the help of HAVA grant money the Cache County Clerk/Auditor's Office was able to create a ballot processing center that will the voters of the county now and for in future since Cache County has been experiencing an extreme amount of growth. Before the new ballot processing center was built the ballots were being processed and tabulated in a room no bigger than a closet. Because of this it was difficult to streamline the process since there was such a lack of space. With the new processing center everything election related is under one roof. From signature verification to election record storage. Because of this, citizens of Cache County can be assured that their election processes are safe and secure.
