"Did You Know?" Video Series
Recent events have undermined the public’s confidence in the integrity of elections. In light of misinformation and anxiety in the national narrative, the Hamilton County Board of Elections decided to address concerns about election integrity through enhanced transparency. The "Did you know" video series features short, easy-to-understand clips about election processes and procedures, designed specifically for social media. Topics have ranged from equipment testing to post-election audits. The videos, edited to be less than a minute long, have performed well on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram. They have been shared by local officials, members of the media, and even national commentators. By showing the public first-hand accounts of how election officials work year-round to ensure an accurate and fair count, the Hamilton County Board of Elections hopes to educate the public and boost confidence in election integrity.
