Improving Accessibility For Voters With Disabilities
Poll place accessibility for voters with disabilities
The Nebraska secretary of state office placed a new ADA voting machine in every single polling location. Staff is currently checking polling sites in person to review accessibility issues and offer guidance and funding to remediate any barriers. In cooperation with Disability Rights Nebraska, the office has also offered statewide training on accessibility needs for all local election officials.
