Creative and Original “I Voted” Sticker Design
"I Voted!" Sticker Design Contest
This program was created as a way to involve teenage students across the county in the elections process - even before they are able to vote. The Clerk’s Office conducted outreach to all schools within the county to accept sticker submissions in multiple languages - Spanish, English, and Indigenous languages. The submissions were selected through a ranked-choice voting ballot used by all county employees. This allowed the exercise to double as student outreach and an education program on ranked-choice voting. The winner was featured on the clerk’s social media site, and their stickers were passed out during Early Voting and on Election Day. The story will also be shared in the office’s first newsletter.
