What is the EAC Learning Lab?

The EAC serves as a clearinghouse of information and best practices for election officials. To meet this mission, the EAC established the Learning Lab—an online platform that provides short, practical trainings on a variety of election administration topics at no cost to election officials. The Learning Lab is designed to provide maximum flexibility, so users can complete or revisit trainings at a time that best fits their schedule.

What topics are covered in the trainings?

The Learning Lab hosts EAC-developed training content on a variety of election administration topics, including:

  • Accessibility
  • Communications
  • Poll worker training
  • Election office administration
  • Federal election laws (coming soon)

Content development is an ongoing effort of the EAC, and users will be alerted as new training content is available.

Who can access the EAC Learning Lab?

The Learning Lab is open to all current state and local election officials. From chief election officials to part-time election office staff, all election administrators are invited to join the Learning Lab and access training relevant to their work.
