On May 27, 2021 Vice Chair Thomas Hicks and Commissioner Ben Hovland wrote to the commissioner of Major League Baseball encouraging MLB to recognize and celebrate election workers, who protected the health of voters, election officials, and our democracy in the midst of a global pandemic, during this year’s All-Star game in Denver.
