101 Election Improvement

Overview

HAVA Section 101 Election Improvement grants are formula grants authorized under Title I Section 101 of the Help America Vote Act (HAVA). Section 101 funding supports states efforts to comply with the requirements of HAVA Title III and carry out activities that improve the administration of federal elections.

Eligibility

Section 101 grants were awarded to states and U.S. territories in 2003. No additional funding is available for this grant program.
