What is the Clearinghouse?

The U.S. Election Assistance Commission (EAC) fulfills its role as a national clearinghouse for information on election administration in many ways, including by developing resources for election administrators at the state on local level. On this page, the EAC has compiled links to tools, resources, and best practices on a number of different election administration topics. To see the resources on a particular topic, click the category name below.

Looking for more? The EAC also provides:

  • The Clearinghouse Community, the EAC's official network for state and local election officials to connect with resources and other professionals in the field.
  • The Learning Lab, an online platform that provides short, practical trainings on a variety of election administration topics at no cost to election officials.
