Public Meeting & Roundtable

The Commission host a public meeting and a roundtable. First they will consider 2006 EAVS; an amendment to EAC policy on the voting system reports clearinghouse; individual State requests to change State-specific instructions to the national voter registration form; and year end reports. The roundtable discussion will focus on 5 subjects including risk, innovation, methodologies, verification and evaluation.

Commissioners discussed and considered: adopting a strategic plan; an internal policy for handling State requested to change State-specific instructions to the National Voter Registration Form; individual State requested to change State-specific instructions to the form. Commissioners heard: a report on a voter registration database study; recommendations by the TGDC for voting systems guidelines and timeline; a report on a draft voting systems test laboratory accreditation manual.
