Video 3: Voting by Mail

Voting by mail is a secure and convenient option for casting your ballot, but it's important to understand that the rules vary from state to state. Some states require you to provide a reason for voting by mail, such as illness, disability, military service, or being away on Election Day. However, many states allow you to request a mail-in ballot without providing a reason. The third video in our series breaks down what you need to know, including eligibility requirements, steps to request a mail-in ballot, and how to return and track your completed ballot.

Video 6: Election Results

The sixth and final video in the series explains how U.S. elections are designed with multiple layers of security to ensure that every vote is counted accurately. It highlights that election results reported on election night are unofficial until all ballots are counted, and results are certified. Since each state has unique laws and procedures, the timing of counting and reporting varies. The series emphasizes the importance of patience as officials meticulously canvass and certify the results, ensuring their trustworthiness.
